Here’s a video of our wonderful vet Eoghan with lovely Denzel talking about the importance of vaccinating your pet!
Vaccinations protect your pets against some potentially lethal diseases. Our VIP Healthcare Plans include all vaccinations and preventative treatments so you can be sure that your little friend is in tip top condition!
Stories From Our Vets
The weather gets colder but our vets are always happy to provide a warm snuggle to your beloved pets! We had many interesting cases this week but our favourite story is about a brave boy that rushed into Briar House surgery to donate blood and saved a new mum and her new born puppies!
A Hero Saved A New Mum

Running our own out of hours is so rewarding! We had a lovely little dog in for a Caesarean section. Unfortunately she required a blood transfusion. Luckily Bear who is a blood donor came to her rescue very late last night. We can’t thank Bear & his mum enough, mum & puppies are doing well! A real life superhero! 🐕❤
Daisy has recovered very well and is proving to be an excellent mum!
Well done to Tanith, Jonathan and Mikyler who gave top class care last night to see this mum through difficult times! Go Team Briar xx
Treating Pancreatitis

This beautiful girl is Belle 😍
Poor Belle has been with us this week to treat her pancreatitis and nasty diarrhoea ☹️ She’s only a young lady so we’re so thrilled to see her feeling better and able to go home and get back to her adventures!!
She’s such a loving cat, so fond of cuddles and fuss, she had to have one last goodbye snuggle with our vet, Bridget! 🥰🥰🥰
Zak’s Ruptured Cruciate Ligament

Uh oh! Zak has ruptured his cruciate ligament 🙈 Luckily our lovely vet Peter was on hand to repair this for him!
He stayed with us overnight to make sure he was steady on his paws and less likely to stumble at home. We look forward to updating you all on his progress over the next few weeks 😍
Mabel’s Neutering Procedure

This very gorgeous canine is Mabel who stayed with us to be neutered.
Mabel is pictured here having cuddles with our lovely vet nurse Lizzy, after having her pre medication for her surgery.
We administer pre medications to our patients (prior to their surgery) to help settle them and to provide additional, pre-emptive pain relief ❤️
We look forward to seeing Mabel again in a couple of days at her first check up 😍
