Puppy Graduation At Briar House Vets
Our first bunch of puppies graduated last week! Here is Bailey and Charlie receiving their certificates.
During the puppy parties, they learnt socialisation skills, chatted with the staff, enjoyed controlled play, showed off their training development and of course had loads of fun!!!
Does Your Dog Need A Dental?
Tori came in for a FREE dental health check as part of our pet smile month.
Upon examination our vet advised he would need a dental. His owners booked him in and today he had 11 teeth removed. In the pictures above, you can see the before and after pictures of Tori. He will require soft food for a little while and a post op check in 3 and 10 days but will soon be back to his happy self.
Dental Disease Symptoms include:
🦷 Bad breath
🦷 Discoloured Teeth
🦷 Trouble eating
🦷 Bleeding gums
🦷 Weight loss
If your pet has any of the symptoms above, then book your Free Dental Checkup in one of our surgeries and we will get that bright smile back on!

Such A Sweet Story!
So this gave me goosebumps…. a stray cat was handed to us on Thursday evening so we scanned her for a chip and located one. My heart sank to see an address in Oxfordshire but I rang the mobile attached to the account and you wouldn’t believe….🐱
Suki and her family had moved to the area 8wks ago where Suki managed to escape almost straight away. She had been missing an entire 8wks and I was just about to witness them being reunited!!!😍
The owners were SO ecstatic and Suki was obviously extremely comfortable being back in their arms.
Happy tears and big smiles all around xxx For anybody missing a cat, keep faith…. these things do happen!! 😍😍😍
Smudge’s Liver Disease
Check out this looker!
This is beautiful Smudge who had a few days stay at Hotel Briar House.
Unfortunately, Smudge has liver disease but she felt much better after a few days of fluids and medications. While in hospital, we also performed an ultrasound to view her abdominal organs and their function in a non-invasive way.
Being silver level of ‘cat friendly’ Smudge stayed in ‘penthouse’ accommodation which suited her personality down to the ground!
It’s lovely to see this picture of her back on form at home. She was such a doll to nurse and we are very glad we could make her feel better! Love you Smudge xxx
