Fascinating Stories Across Our Group

Date: 06 Sep 2019
By: admin

In the first week of September, many worried pet parents rushed into our clinics with their beloved pets, seeking for our vets’ expertise and skills. Our team was happy and eager to help all the animals and provide only the best level of care to our wonderful companions!

A Furry New Mum

This is lovely Poppie with her Mum. Poppie came into our clinic to have a quick ultrasound to see if she is pregnant. Indeed the ultrasound confirmed this and our vet Viraf reckons that she is carrying between four to six pups.
Poppie will be a busy mum very soon.

A Brave Blood Donor

Here’s a bag of the good stuff….
Well done to Tuppence who gave a donation to a fellow canine in need. She was incredibly brave and enjoyed a good extra dinner as a reward! You star 💫
Everybody here has their fingers crossed that it does the job 🤞🤞🤞🤞

Daisy’s Mysterious Case

Lovely Daisy has had a sore neck and has been yelping from time to time, as well as dragging her left leg around. She came in for us to check for a couple of conditions.

We performed an x-ray of her neck to check for a slipped disc, and took some spinal fluid to check for meningitis. In the meanwhile, we will send her home with some strong pain killers and await the results. She’s been a pleasure here, far from a pain in the neck!

Sky’s Facial Reconstruction

Sky has been in to see Peter today for facial reconstruction. Sky is a Sharpei, a breed that are prone to eye and skin conditions. It was necessary to perform today’s procedure, as Sky’s excess skin on her brow was affecting her eyesight and had made the skin around her eyes quite sore as she wasn’t getting any air to them 😢

She looks a little like a patchwork pup at the moment and although there may be a little swelling in the next few days, she will be so much more comfortable and be able to see properly again. We wish Sky a speedy recovery and look forward to posting her progress in the next few weeks 😊
